The quarter-finals of the Champions League kick-off this week with some mouth-watering ties that involve teams from 6 different countries. Can Barcelona be the first team to retain the top European title since AC Milan did so in 1990 or will Arsenal, Lyon, Bordeaux or CSKA Moscow ensure there is a new name on the trophy? Manchester United are looking to regain the cup they won in 2008 but perhaps the team with the most desire is Inter Milan who have not won the European Cup since 1965. Who will win the Champions League? Let us know by clicking on one of the options below and leave a comment to tell us why.
i think its SERIOUSLY going to be man utd that will shock the world with their victory in wembley. So far this season they havent been in top gear and if rooney becomes the player he was last season during the knock out rounds then utd will definitely be in the final. All utd need is 2 players in the january window like sanchez & anthony annan from rosenborg to really strengthen their attack and defence which they will need against barca or madrid.
I SEE MAN UTD VS REAL MADRID IN THE FINAL IN WEMBLEY
score 2-1 to utd
great work
Barca!
Being a huge Blues fan myself BUT after all I ve seen that CL season…BAYERN MUNICH will win it. Best Wing-Collaboration in europe, schweinsteiger who playing like the early essien and on top spirit as well as passion. I m pretty sure they kick out Manu on Wed, beat Lyon in the semis and win by lucky punch (penalty or free kick) against inter. Altough Bayern – Barca in the final sounds funny either – considering all the madrid supporters cheering for bayern!
It’s going French this year! It’s time for an upset – big teams like Liverpool and AC Milan are out and this year will have a fresh feel.
Final
Lyon 2-1 Arsenal
