      The Slovakian defence had to be wary of Polish striker Robert Lweandowski but the Slovakian defender Skriniar had him in his pocket. If a player – usually a defender – has another player in their pocket it means that they have complete control of the opponent. It means that the defender has kept the forward quiet – the forward has not had any chances to score at all.
