How can I listen to the podcast
There are three ways of listening to the show: The easiest way is to subscribe to the show – choose one of the subscription options and then sit back and wait for the latest podcast to appear. You can also click on the play now icon below the podcast post and this will allow you to be able to hear the show. You can also download the show to your computer allowing you to listen whenever you wish.
Who are the podcast presenters?
Damian and Damon are the two main presenters and you can find out more about them here.
How often does the podcast appear?
We used to have a weekly podcast that appeared at the weekend but now we have lots of different types of podcasts which appear throughout the week.
Is there a transcript?
For many of our listening posts (podcasts, main reports, football phrases) there are transcripts which can help listeners improve their listening and reading skills.
What is the format of the podcast?
Many of our podcasts feature both Damon and Damian discussing different aspects of football language. These shows last between 10 and 15 minutes and include weekly football expressions, quizzes, predictions and football language reviews of the week.
There are also shorter podcasts (3-5 minutes) which focus on either a football expression or a football topic (e.g. the language of scoring goals)
