Which of the following terms is the odd-one-out, is different, to the others?

The answer is number 4: tournament because the other three terms can be used to describe how teams are organised in a league rather than a knock-out competition. For instance, we can say that Luton Town are top of League One in England, that's the third tier of English football, formerly known as Division Three.
