Hello. What does "slam" mean here? GOAL West Brom 0-2 Man City (13 mins). Yaya Toure slams home from the penalty spot to double the visitors' advantage. Thank you.

'Home' refers to the goal and 'slam' means to shoot very hard so 'slam home' means that Yaya scored with a very hard shot.
