If a player moves with the ball - maybe a dribble - we can call this a 'run'; the player is running with the ball. In this example, Owen has collected the ball (received a pass) and is running towards goal with the ball - he is on a run. The commentator has described this as a fantastic run and a great run - Owen is moving with the ball very well indeed.
The Argentinian defence are worried because Owen's run is causing them problems - they have to move out of position to try and stop him for example.
