Hello, Grell and Damian. I try to guess the meaning of the following words. At the heart = at the centre. Drill a pass = to send a pass. Am I right? Then, what does it mean skip past; deal with to gift? Martial was at the heart of the move, skipping past three challenges before drilling a pass into the six-yard box that Ruben Vezo failed to deal with to gift Chelsea loanee Pasalic a simple finish. Thanks in advance.

At the heart = at the centre.
Drill a pass = to send a pass. Am I right?
- Yes, that's right.
Then, what does it mean skip past; deal with to gift?
- To skip past = when a forward goes past a defender in an easy manner (usually at pace)
- To deal with = to fix the issue or the problem (The defence easily dealt with the dangerous cross)
- To gift = When a team makes a mistake and gives an easy chance to the opposition (The defence gifted a chance to the opposition). You can also gift possession to the opposition, i.e. give the ball away cheaply
