Hello everyone. What do the following words mean? • To get down low. • To take the ball round. • To keep it in play. • To scoop. Frabregas has a shot from 25 yards out but Petr Cech gets down low and gathers the ball. Theo Walcott takes the ball round Begovic after Hector Bellerin has played him in but he can't keep it in play. Hestie takes the deep corner, Watt heads it back across goal and Mackin somehow scoops over from a yard out, still 2-1 Saints.

Hello everyone. What do the following words mean?
• To get down low = When a goalkeeper dives to stop a shot on goal, especially when the shot is on the ground or low.
• To take the ball round = when a player goes around the keeper (with the ball)
• To keep it in play = To keep the ball in play means that the ball has not gone out for a throw in or a goal kick.
• To scoop = This is like a dink or a chip as the player lifts the ball over another player (usually a keeper)
