In another tight match, Italy beat Argentina 1-0 on Day 5. The subsitute, Cristiana Girelli, scored a header to break the deadlock. Here is @FIFAWWC:
"Four minutes after coming on, the Italian talisman breaks the deadlock at Eden Park!"
To break the deadlock means to score after a long period at 0-0. A deadlock is a tie, when no team can 'break' the other team's defence.
How would you describe her winning header?
