Languagecaster Predictions Day 4: Japan Shock Germany and Spain Thrash Costa Rica – Yet more shocks as Japan come from behind to beat Germany

football languageDay 4 of the 2022 World Cup and yet more shocks as Japan come from behind to beat Germany 2-1 in their Group E game. Similar to yesterday’s stunning Saudi victory over Argentina, no one in our predictions competition scored any points from the Germany-Japan game though we did have a couple of scorers in the Croatia v Morocco scoreless draw. picked up a point from this match as no one predicted that the Saudi side would win.Over 20 players predicted a Spanish victory against Costa Rica but of course no one went for a seven-nil victory. Most players picked up a point in choosing Belgium to beat Canada but Academicals and Adey both managed three points for correctly predicting the 1-0 Belgian win. Adey is now in joint fifth place on 10 points which is three points behind the leader…us, here at Languagecaster. Brooking’sBoys and James are joint second one point behind on 12 points. There are four more matches tomorrow including South Korea against Uruguay, Ghana take on Portugal and Brazil will face Serbia (I’m going for a draw in that one!). Get your scores in now!
