come from a goal behind – to win a game after being losing earlier.
e.g. Tottenham came from a goal behind to win 2-1

derby – a match between two teams from the same area
e.g. The Tottenham-Chelsea game was a typical London derby.

losing streak – to lose many games in a row
e.g. Reading are on a four match losing streak

bottle – heart, guts, balls
e.g. Tottenham showed some bottle to beat Chelsea last week.

9 points clear – to be ahead / to be leading by 9 points
e.g. Lyon are 9 points clear at the top of the French League.

to draw – when both teams have the same amount of goals
e.g. Schalke and Bayern drew 2-2 last week.

have a poor record – have not done well (lost many games)
e.g. Arsenal have a poor record against European teams.

dip in form – the team has not been playing well
Everton’s recent form has dipped.
