Here is a list of some frequently asked questions (with answers) about the podcast and the site that may help you understand languagecaster a little more.

What is a podcast?

A podcast is like an internet radio show. It is audio content in a digital form that can be accessed via a computer or a portable digital player (e.g. an i-pod). You can find out more about podcasting by going to these sites

How can I listen to the podcast?

There are three ways of listening to the show:
1. Subscribing to the show by clicking on the itunes_1click.gif icon. This will take you to the i-tunes store where you can subscribe and then receive the show automatically every week - for free!

If you prefer to use another way of subscribing you can use juice which can automatically download the podcast for you. Click here to download it for free. Download Juice, the cross-platform podcast receiver

2. Click on the Play Now icon and you will be able to hear the show.

3. Click on the Download icon and the show will be downloaded to your computer allowing you to listen whenever you wish.

Do I need any other software to listen?

If you are having any difficulties listening to the show with your media player then you may want to download one of the following free software services (Click on the icon to go to the download page)

Many of the free handouts on the site (crosswords and puzzles) are in PDF form which means that you will need Adobe to read and print them, if you do not already have this you can download it for free here
