Versus (vs): Against. When one team plays another team we say Team A versus team B which is sometimes written vs (e.g. Celtic vs Rangers)
Victory (n) / Victorious (adj)
(n) When a team wins: the opposite of a loss or a defeat
(adj) A phrase used to describe a winning team, player or manager
(to) Volley: To strike the ball while it is in mid-air before it touches the ground.
