OK, so the season is just two weeks old, still, there is certainly room for optimism at Ewood Park this year judging on the performances both in the Premiership and UEFA cup.

While the Premiership has been a 2 horse race in the past few seasons, United, Chelski and Arsenal all having won the Premiership title in recent years, it is quite easy to forget the one other name engraved on the base of the trophy…Blackburn Rovers.

 

Being a 28 year old Blackburn fan, this is the one major success (apart from the Worthington Cup in 2001) that I can remember, and onto which I cling, in the vain hope of a repeat sometime soon.
