After 42 weeks of predictions, Damian is crowned languagecaster’s Predictions King. Behind for the whole race, he pipped Damon at the post with a devastating show of predicting power in the last week. He got the result correct for ALL ten games - a first at languagecaster - with two perfect scores to bring Damon back to earth with a crash. Last year Damon was champion but it all ended in tears after he followed his heart not his head last week. It is all to play for as we head into the final week with only two points separating our two ‘experts’, meaning Damian needs to move up another gear if he is to prevent Damon from retaining the predictions title. On this week’s show we feature the FA Cup final, crucial matches in Italy and France where both leagues have gone down to the wire, the relegation battle in Spain and of course, the Champions League final from Moscow.
Can Damon hang on? Can Damian pip him at the post? Can you do any better?

Who would have believed that after 40 weeks of predictions there would only be one point separating the two ‘experts’ after Damian’s 9-4 victory last week. It is indeed ’squeaky bum’ time as this week’s games will decide where the predictions crown will end up and what matches we have this week! The Premier League title decider, relegation battles in La Liga in Spain, a top-of-the-table clash in the Argentinian Clausura, the opening round of the Brazilian League, an all-Brazilian Copa Libertadores quarter final and, of course, the UEFA Cup final.

Damon won 5-4 last week to extend his lead to six as he looks to retain his predictions crown. Will it all end in tears for Damian again or can he bounce back with this week’s set of games? And what games we have! Huge derbies in Italy, Spain and Argentina, the Premier League title race and relegation battle and the Copa Libertadores knock-out stage all take place over the next week.

After taking the lead for the first time a month ago Damian has been brought back down to Earth with three defeats in a row. This week sees matches from The Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga and The FA Cup in England, as well as a local derby in Holland, a possible title decider in France, second leg ties from the UEFA Cup last 16 and a big La Plata derby in Argentina.
