- to bear in mind - remember, also, think about
Bear in mind Shalke lost their manager, too So that’s a very good result.
- mudslinging - use of insults, the attempts to damage people’s reputations

- allegedly - supposedly, apparently, some people say
Allegedly there was some fighting in the tunnel after the Rangers Celtic match.
- currently - at the moment, at the present time
Five teams are currently locked in a relegation battle in the Bundelsiga.
- fragile - delicate, psychologically weak
Everyone’s going to be watching Arsenal (against Reading) to see how fragile they really are.
