Having travelled and lived abroad a lot, my Evertonia is something that gets established usually within the first 3 questions when meeting someone for the first time.

Top class signings, goals by Voronin and a heated phone-in.

Exciting times for Liverpool fans these days. For a start, the summer signings should add a bit of flare up front and hopefully a fair few goals too. Of course the big name is Fernando Torres, the young Spaniard who at the last World Cup amazed the crowds by sporting three haircuts at the same time. They must be kidding!

When news broke that Liverpool had bought Fernando Torres, the Atletico Madrid prodigy for 26+ million pounds, my immediate reaction was to think - Hang on a minute! They must be kidding! That’s a lot of money to be splashing out on a striker from La Liga’s seventh-ranked team (that’s Bolton in the Premier league). continue reading
