With Bremen, Leverkusen and Benfica all having played in recent Champions League competitions, Sevilla and AZ Alkmaar both challenging at the top of the Spanish and Dutch leagues and tough Spanish sides Osasuna and Espanyol left in the UEFA Cup quarter-finals it seems that this year’s competition could be the one that finally raises the profile of the tournament.
Of course, I am biased as my team, Tottenham Hotspur, have also made it to this stage having won all 8 of their matches this season, a run that continue reading
